For those who haven't heard of it, LinkedIn® is a way to keep up with your professional contacts - think of it as MySpace for grown-ups.
Through the network at LinkedIn, you will find business people that are friends of friends you didn't know were there. Additionally, LinkedIn enables you to find and reconnect with many classmates and colleagues you used to work with but had lost track of.
It's pretty amazing to see the number and quality of people you can reach through just a few trusted contacts. The LinkedIn network is growing daily by literally thousands of professionals.
It takes less than a minute to sign up and get "Linked In" to the network (it's free, by the way). After you're in, you'll probably be surprised to see how many people you recognize.
Once you're part of the network, you’re also invited to join the Union Square Association (USA) Group at LinkedIn. Joining will allow you to find and contact other USA members on LinkedIn. The goal of this group is to help members:
• Reach other members of USA• Accelerate careers/business through referrals from USA Group members
• Know more than a name – view rich profiles from fellow USA Group members
• Promote the neighborhood and USA events

Union Square Online: New Stuff for 2008!
New additions... plus major upgrades of existing features.PHOTO GALLERY – The previous gallery has been revamped to better display the images and a slideshow option has been added. New photos have been contributed by Kimberly Crichlow and Emily McLellan. As before, new Union Square photos are always welcome at pix@union-square.us.
MAP & DRIVING DIRECTIONS – An interactive map has been added that allows users to zoom in and out, click and drag around the area, and get driving directions. Locations of local businesses (that are part of Google Maps) also appear.
COMMUNITY CALENDAR – A new interactive calendar adds regional weather forecasts, Baltimore events, Association meetings, the neighborhood trash collection schedule, and other information about Union Square. Clicking on an event reveals more details. You can even view it on your iPhone or other web-enabled device.
UNION SQUARE SHOP – Coming Soon! Union Square coffee mugs, t-shirts, bumper stickers and more will soon be available for purchase.
